For our Fencing in Katy classes:
Classes fees must be paid on the days 1-5 of each month.
If you start in the second or third week of the month, payment will be rated according to the numbers of remaining classes. Then, you will catch up the following month, starting on a regular payment schedule.
Individual and family memberships are due after the first month of class or after the introductory package, if you decide to continue. Your contribution help us maintain our facilities upkeep, as well as to develop new and improved programs. Membership is not refundable and must be renewed after 12 months.
All students are required to have a USA Fencing membership. This membership is independent of Dragon Heart Fencing Academy. Please visit https://www.usafencing.org for information.
Enrollment cancellations must be notified at least 15 days in advance of the date of withdrawal.
In the case of a student skipping a month of class for travel or any other reasons, charge will be 50% from the regular tuition fee.
If you miss one class, please join us for the next available session for your age group. Just ask or give a quick reminder to your coach. Our main goal is to keep every athlete training continuously, for better individual and collective development, so let's work together on that.
Please keep in mind that our Academy will be closed in dates such as Memorial Day, 4 of July, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year's Eve and New Year Day, etc.
Competitive fencing requires commitment and dedication. Group and individual classes are required to keep a good level of fencing.
As we participate in local and regional events, planning is necessary for traveling out of town. Costs associated to competitive fencing include school travelling costs for events out of Houston.
Life happens, but please let your coach know 24 hours in advance about your cancellation, so your session can be rescheduled. Unannounced cancellations will be counted as a complete class.
Lessons and homeschool classes must be booked and paid in advance. If you are not longer able to continue with pre-paid individual lessons (accident, relocation, etc) a refund could be issued up to 50% of the remaining scheduled sessions.
Please let your coach know fifteen days in advance. You can schedule make up classes before or after the days of you will miss. Continuous, progressive training will help you grow as an athlete.
